Moving is not for the faint of heart.
Selling a home is not for the faint of heart.
Selling a house and moving with FIVE kids ACROSS country is definitely not for the faint of heart!
Luckily we had already been downsizing before deciding to move. My cousin started a decluttering group a few years back, decluttering has just become a way of life LOL. I’m so ready to not have a bunch of stuff. Now with that said we still have a lot to get rid of and/or pack. It’s amazing how much we still have to pack. (truthfully its mostly the garage that is left)
Have you seen that meme “trying to clean your house with kids is like brushing your teeth while eating oreos”? Yeah. That is my life right now! Trying to keep the house clean, while packing and distant learning with the kids has made it really hard to get into the shop to play.
My husband recently bought us a Craftsman standing tool chest, something we have wanted for years. It is so nice having one place for almost all the things. We do plan on getting a larger one, I have my eye on this Husky, once we move so everything will have it’s own place. There are few other tools we will be buying once we get moved, it will help streamline so much.
It is going to be a lot harder to say goodbye to Corpus, to Texas then I ever even imagined. We’ve made a life here, all our children were born here, we have made countless friends, we’ve grown our extended family. But it is time for our new chapter, we are so ready to have family close. (which may backfire having so much family close by lol) My kids will get to grow up with their cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents.

It is hard to walk away from our little green house.
