Man oh man! Little did I know that moving my business to California would be a huge undertaking. Texas didn’t have nearly as many steps as California does, or maybe I did not realize they did? Anywho when you get your DBA you also have to run a 4week ad in the local paper saying you are filing a DBA. Then there’s the normal stuff like updating all your social media, getting new sales tax ID numbers (which boy was that a chore!), changing business banks (assuming you didn’t already go with a big company), finding business insurance and BLAH BLAH. I’m over here wanting someone to do all this boring stuff me so I can just getting back to creating!
