Shopping Small Across the US
While I do shop at the big box stores like Home Depot, Rockler, Woodcraft, etc I try really hard to get stuff from locally owned businesses or small US based businesses. Here are a few of my favorites!
I first met Jeff with The Walnut Log at a woodturners retreat, I made a lifelong friend that weekend.
He is my go to for Yorkshire Grit, Mylands Sanding Sealer, Nova chucks, and more.
While visiting with Andy (a mentor) he showed me and let me use these new magical sanding pads. I instantly fell in love with Vince’s Wood N Wonder’s sanding discs and had to buy two of the starter kits. I have only had to replace a few pads since that first investment, they work great with or without your drill.
I met Ron, owner of AZ Carbide, at the same Woodturners Retreat I met Jeff, like Jeff Ron became a lifelong friend.

I have bought several turning kits and blanks from Craft Supplies USA, I have also purchased a few turning tools from them. Their customer service is top notch!
