Simply put woodturning is using a wood lathe to take a chunk of wood and turn it into a bowl, pen, finial and so much more.

Woodturning to me is therapy, it’s so satisfying taking a block of wood and transforming it into a bowl, or sometimes a pen. I end up covered in sawdust and wood shavings, my garage ends up a huge mess but it’s the best. Especially finishing the really difficult pieces, finishing those after struggling on them is amazing.
